The Wellness Hub is a first of its kind wellness center designed to promote active living, healthy eating, and integrative health practices.

Our individual and group fitness opportunities and educational programs can help you and your family learn how to incorporate exercise and healthy eating into your daily routine to lead healthy, vibrant lives.

Cost and Location

The hub is located on the second floor of the Cedar-Riverside Clinic.

If it is your first visit to The Wellness Hub, please check-in at the clinic lobby on the first floor of the building.

Suggested Fees:

Open Gym is $1

Group Fitness Class is $5

The Wellness Hub is pay what you can facility. No membership is required. No one is turned away for inability to pay.

Funds are used to clean space, maintain the equipment, and pay staff/class instructors. Donations are appreciated onsite or at peoples-center.org/donate

Frequently Asked Questions


+ How do I sign up to use the wellness hub?

You must be 16 years of age or older to use The Wellness Hub unattended. When you visit for the first time, check in at the reception desk on the first floor of the clinic. A staff member will walk you through the process.

+ How do I learn how to use the equipment?

Ask a staff member. For your safety, they will familiarize you with the equipment. They are always on hand to answer questions as you progress in your exercise program.

+ Are there locker rooms in the Wellness Hub?

There are two private bathrooms for changing and showering. Towels are not provided. Soap and shampoo are available. There are no lockers in the space.

+ Is the wellness hub accessible for people with disabilities?

The Wellness Hub meets all ADA requirements, and we welcome people of all abilities. Please call to alert us to any special needs you have or any accommodations you will require.

+ What happens if I get injured while using the equipment in the Wellness Hub?

Contact a staff member right away. They will connect you with a provider at the Clinic or call 911, in case of an emergency. There is an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) in the space, and all staff are certified in first aid.
